Questions about plans and payment
What is a Challenge?
It's FonoBeat's assessment mode: your child sings part of the song with no help and the AI listens to their pronunciation to give kind feedback — what already sounds great and what's still on its way. Singing and practising line by line don't spend Challenges: they're unlimited on every plan.
How is the subscription paid for?
The subscription is taken out and managed directly in the App Store or Google Play, with your store account. We never hold card details: the store handles the payment.
Can I cancel whenever I want?
Yes. You cancel from your App Store or Google Play subscription settings and the plan stays active until the end of the period you've already paid for. There's no lock-in and no penalty.
How many children's profiles can I create?
It depends on the plan: 1 on Free, 2 on Basic and 5 on Premium. Each profile has its own progress, streak and songs — with no real personal data about the child. On the Schools plan, profiles go by licence.
What happens if I run out of Challenges for the period?
Nothing serious: your child can carry on singing and practising line by line without limit. Challenges renew automatically at the start of the next week or month, depending on the plan.
Does the free plan need a card?
No. The free plan is free forever and asks for no payment details at all. All that's needed is an adult account to create the child's profile.
Is there a plan for schools?
Yes: FonoBeat for Schools, with organisation licences, a teacher dashboard and progress reports. It has its own page with everything on it.
