How the curriculum is built
A sequenced curriculum, not a list of songs
Before approving a tool, an academic coordinator asks three things: what framework it maps to, whether they can say what has been worked on, and whether it fits inside a class period. This answers all three.

- The 5 levels of the scale cover Pre-A1 to A2 — the range where primary school lives — with CEFR equivalence declared in every lesson.
- The catalogue covers 24 grammar structures from a closed, validated list: every lesson declares its own and the system rejects any label outside the list.
- Every word is met again across an average of 5.9 later lessons, in another world and to another melody. That's the mechanic that sustains long-term retention.
- Stories carry comprehension questions, and the vocabulary and syntax exercises are generated from each lesson's own data: they aren't a separate question bank that can drift out of step with the content.

FonoBeat teaches six languages. For a school that means two concrete things: you can cover more than one language on the same licence, and you can serve families who don't speak the school's language at home.
Families who do not speak the school’s language
A student can use the app in their family's language while the whole class works on the same target language. The teacher still sees one group and one goal; the student reads the translation and the pronunciation in the language they understand.
Vocabulary is counted once
The words worked on belong to the language being learnt, so they aren't duplicated for each family language. A report that multiplied the catalogue would be a false report, and the dashboard is built so it can't produce one.
